Victoria Rossa: Too Pretty A Place

Once again, I am here to blog about FOOD!!! This will be a little different from my most recent post about COYA Healthy Cuisine because I will be talking more about DESSERTS instead! :D Desserts tend to be everyone's favourite because they're sweet and tasty! Feeling stressed out? Well, stressed spelled backwards is D-E-S-S-E-R-T-S! So take desserts to reduce your stress level! :D Apparently, chocolate reduces stress! Oh well, I read that fact somewhere on the Internet :P Hehee..

This place I've just visited few days ago is called 'Victoria Rossa'. It is really a PRETTY place, with the 'Princessy' feel!!! <3

 Outer Look for the Cafe

As you can see the outlook of this cafe itself is already quite sweet! The colours blend in just nice. :D It is quite easy to spot but maybe some may miss it because the building colour is similar to the ones along that road. Victoria Rossa is located along Irrawaddy Road in Penang, opposite 'New York Burger'. Penangites should be fairly familiar with this road! (:

How Victoria Rossa Look from the Outside (:

My boyfriend and I came here after lunch. We decided to have some tea and cakes so we thought this place is ideal for us. (: We arrived at about 2-ish p.m. and the cafe was very quiet because we were the only customers at that time. Well, I prefer it that way. The waitresses will not be so busy then. :D A lady welcomed us warmly and led us to a table for 2! :D The service was good from the beginning! She gave us baskets to place our bags! How convenient!!! ^_^

Baskets for our Bags! (:

After that, we were given a menu each to take a look  at what we want for our pick! :D I really love the interior design of this cafe! Too pretty for words! <3 The menu was also beautifully decorated! Very English I would say. (: See for yourself :P

 Pick of the Day! <3

Tea of the Day! <3

The waitress was very nice and since my boyfriend and I are Vegetarians, we could only take the Egg & Mayo sandwich instead of the Ham Sandwich. She suggested that we take the egg one though. (: Since we just had lunch, both of us decided to share the Single Old English Afternoon Tea Set! :D
The waitress was also nice enough to give us 2 sets of cutlery and teacups! It was clearly stated that only one set is provided for this Single Set Afternoon Tea. How lucky we were! :P

While waiting for the Old English Afternoon Tea Set to arrive at our table, Nick decided to take pictures of the pretty cafe! There's no need for anyone to ask you to snap pictures because the cafe is too attractive and the interior design will lure you to take out your camera/phone! XD

 Very Sweet! <3

More Decoration at the Outdoor Area

There is only one table, FOR TWO, at the Outdoor Area! :D You may request for the outdoor seats if you want to. ^_^ After a while, our food came and yes!!! It's time to feast! :D

TA-DA!!! Before I taste my food! :P

We enjoyed the desserts a lot and we were told by the waitress to start eating from the lower most deck to the uppermost deck. That way, the freshness of the sandwich can be tasted! (: Everything tasted so good that we literally 'smacked' our lips! :D Also, you can ask for refill for your teapot. Of course the tea will not taste as thick as the first round but it's all good! :D Do try eating the scones and butter cake together with the tea! It really enhances the cake and scone flavour! (: After a good meal, it's time to call it a day! ^_^

Review : Coya Healthy Cuisine!

Feeling hungry, anyone? :P Yes, FOOD!!! I bet majority out there love the word 'F O O D'! Of course, that includes ME!!! :D I enjoy going to different cafes to try out their delicacies and the more the variety, the better it is! ^_^

I've visited this vegetarian cafe by the name of 'Coya Healthy Cuisine' recently with my boyfriend and it is quite a nice place, I would say. Its location is quite strategic and there are parking spaces so, drivers need not worry so much in finding parking! This cafe is quite new because I haven't heard of it until few months back. (: It is located at Lorong Selamat, a lane situated on the opposite of New World Park! There are quite a number of choices of food available on the menu and if you're wondering what the prices are like, don't worry too much about it because the food here is pretty affordable! The portion is quite FILLING too!

Part of Coya Healthy Cuisine's Menu

We ordered 'Bak Kut Teh', 'ShaCha' Noodles, Fried Oyster Mushroom with Sweet n Sour Sauce and Herbal Tea egg! Well, what I did was, I added on an extra RM 4.90 for my 'Bak Kut Teh' to get a traditional drink, 2 side dishes of the day, free fruits and a bowl of rice (White or Brown). I decided to try its Herbal Mint Tea and yes, it tasted fine. On the other hand, an extra RM 2 is added to the 'ShaCha' Noodles to get a drink and my boyfriend decided to give the Red Dates and Longan drink a try! Well, that drink was also refreshing!
The 'Bak Kut Teh' was OKAY, but the 'ShaCha' Noodles was AWESOME! The Fried Oyster Mushroom was also very nice, I specially like the sweet and sour sauce. :P Oh well, everything kinda taste good when you're hungry right? :P Haha! The Herbal Tea Egg was fine, just like all the other herbal tea eggs out there though. I was served a plate of green peas and one spring roll for my side dishes. I don't fancy green peas so I gave them all to my boyfie :P As for fruits, they served watermelon. Thirst quenching fruit especially on hot sunny days! :D

Review: Mary Kay® CrΓ©me Lipstick

Hello there! πŸ‘‹ I am back again and this time around, I am going to write a review on the Mary Kay's CrΓ©me Lipstick! Any Mary Kay's fans out here? If so, then you'll definitely fall in love with this lipstick!😍 Lipstick plays a very very important role in enhancing one's looks in our daily lives. It actually helps to brighten your face and enhance your features! Some people may love catchy colours while some prefer lighter colours like light pink. For me, both catchy and light tone lipsticks are fine. I use them on different occasions. Those with brighter shades will usually be used when I am out for a date and it helps to make one feel bolder. πŸ˜ŒπŸ’„On the other hand, the light colours are usually very sweet. It softens one's looks and make you a very gentle person through your looks.πŸ’‹

There are several colours offered by Mary Kay in this range. Mary Kay categorises this range into 7 categories, namely Pinks, Neutrals, Tawnies, Metals, Berries, Reds and Chocolates. The Pink category consists of colours such as Dusty Rose, Pink Satin and Pink Passion while the Neutral category offers colours like Shell and Toffee. Tawnies on the other hand offer only Sunset and the Metal category offers colours like Garnet Frost and Sheer Blush. Berries, Reds and Chocolates categories offer colours like Apple Berry, Red and Amber Suede respectively. This range of lipstick is known to be long-wearing, light weighted and has a creamy texture for maximum lasting colour impact. These lipsticks are enhanced with vitamin E and vitamin C derivative to help ward off wrinkle-causing free radicals.

I am going to review on the Metals category, the Garnet Frost colour! I quite like this colour because it gives my lips a natural kind of look and shine as well. It is not too heavy and it suits well in many occasions. πŸ’ This colour is sweet and it does not look too striking for a day out! Those who like natural shades will definitely want to give this lipstick a try! It is affordable too! πŸ˜€ I came to know of this lipstick from a friend of mine who is currently a beauty consultant of Mary Kay. I got a very good deal from her! You guys may also contact her for more information regarding Mary Kay's products. She is very friendly! Do talk to her 😘
